The Director, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq campaign organization AACO, Kwara Central, Amb. Yahaya Seriki-Gambari has won his polling unit for the All Progressives Congress.
The results obtained by THE INFORMANT247 shows the APC winning the election.
The breakdown of the results;
PU 007, Ode-Seriki Gambari, Zango ward
Governorship- APC 238votes; PDP 73votes
House of Assembly 234votes; PDP 79votes
PU 009, Ode-Seriki Gambari, Zango ward
Governorship- APC 251votes; PDP 64votes
House of Assembly- APC 253votes; PDP 52votes
Also, the Director-General of the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, Mallam Ishaq Kawu Modibbo deliver his polling unit for the APC’s Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
In the guber race, APC polled 352votes as against PDP 95votes, while in the house of assembly APC polled 350votes to defeats PDP 89votes.
However, The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ali Ahmad lost his polling unit to the All Progressive Congress in the gubernatorial elections.
Ali Ahmad who was also an aspirant of the PDP in the last primary election polled 185votes for PDP’s Abdulrasak Atunwa against 211votes polled by the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.
