Post-Election: Oyabambi fulfills promises, donates Generator to prison.

Inmates of the Mandala Maximum Prison wallow in enormous euphoria as Oyabambi donates Generator set to prison.

Adetunji Oyabambi, the United Democtatic Party (UDP) gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded election has fulfilled his promise to donate an 8.5KVA capacity electric generating set to the inmates of the Mandala maximum prison as requested by the prison officials during his welfare visitation where he donated daily needs, households items, and pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Oyebanji Ariyo, accompanied by Sheu Kolade Abdulrasaq, Agbebi Abiodun Oluwadare and a Prison officer, Tunde Sholagberu who presented the generator set on behalf of ASAKE INC., a foundation founded by Adetunji Oyabambi.

The Deputy Controller of Prisons, Madala Maximum Prison, DSP Rapheal Jimoh who received the presents on behalf of the inmates expressed unreserved joy over the magnanimity displayed by the Kwara-born politician, describing the act as an arrant manifestation of service to humanity. Thereby lauded Oyabambi’s timely generosity towards the community which inmates are part of.

Recall that Oyabambi, during a welfare visit to the inmates of Oke-Kura and Mandala Maximum Prison in Kwara State, freed 5 inmates by paying their bail fines respectively. He also donated useful household items to the inmates.

Oyabambi, had during his first visit been presented with a list comprising an array pressing medical needs at the Clinic Bay which he immediately granted.

The former gubernatorial candidate was also informed about the unstable electricity condition of the prison, Oyabambi promised to donate a Generator set in order to provide a lasting solution to the issue of interrupted power supply.
