However, the National Headquaters of the Association has said it will embark on a massive protest tommorow to express their displeasure over the inability of the state government to release the remaining N75million of the promised N100million.

In a letter signed by the Association Vice-president and Director-General, and obtained by THE INFORMANT247, they said, “we wish to remind you that you approved 100 million Naira for the 2018 bursary award and you pronounced before all media houses that 50 million Naira should be released and we went ahead to inform all our students but unfortunately only 25 million naira was released which is far not enough to pay about 1.6 million kwara state students.”

However, top source in the government revealed that the governor will be meeting some of the student leader involved in the protest anytime soon.
