The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are planning to take their protests against the conduct of the February 23 Presidential and National Assembly elections to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja.
This is to show their reservation and lack of acceptance of the results as officially announced by INEC, in which the body declared the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari as winner of the elections, and have since issued a certificate of return to him and his vice. The PDP is said to be protesting against the conduct of some INEC officials and the militarization of the electoral process.
Mobilisation for the protest has already kick-started in Abuja, as the protest would commence anytime soon.
Details shortly.
