The atmosphere was immersed with absolute felicity as two illustrous Igbomina sons met up for the first time on Eidul Kabir day.
Dr. Popoola Sunday, immediate past president, Igbomina Descendants Association, United Kingdom (IDA, UK) and Kwara State Association of Nigeria (KSANG) United Kingdom for the first time physically met with engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi, incumbent president, Igbomina Community North American (ICNA) on his return from Eidul Kabir prayer at Esie in his country home on the 11th August, 2019.
The duo of Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi, an astute business turned politician and Dr. Popoola Sunday a renowned lecturer at the Prestigious Imperial College in the United Kingdom who are quintessential Igbomina dignitaries have been in collaboration for over 5 years on various developmental initiatives of Esie community without physical contact with each other. They have burning preference for the kingdom as they had executed the repair of various inactive hand pumps and renovation of schools’ classrooms.
The august meeting received a nod from the royal father, HRM Oba Alhaji Yakubu Babalola, the Elesie of Esie Kingdom.

The Chief Imam of Esie, Alhaji Busari prayed for the two philanthropic figures and for the uninterrupted development of Esie Kingdom.
On the final note, Engineer Nurudeen who was so much elated upon long time collaborator, Dr. Popoola Sunday disclosed that they have been working together since 2012 or so on community development without ever setting eyes on each other.
