Who is Seyi Tinubu?

Seyi Tinubu is the oldest child of prominent Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu, who presided as Lagos State’s governor from 1999 to 2007.

Despite having developed into an independent, wealthy businessman, Seyi is still frequently referred to as Bola Tinubu’s son because of his reputation and the riches of his father.

He is a highly diligent and hardworking young man with a strong sense of entrepreneurship who has extended his hands into a few successful firms.

Seyi has two surviving siblings from his father’s marriage to Oluremi, but it is unknown if he has any additional siblings on his mother’s side.

In 2017, Bolajide, one of his stepbrothers, passed away in London due to a heart attack. Abibat Tinubu and Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, who is wed to Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, a member of the House of Representatives who represents Ijero/Efon/Ekiti West, Ekiti State, are his other siblings.

Educational Background

Being born into an influential and wealthy family, Seyi Tinubu grew up in a developed part of the world and had a very sound education.

He started his primary education at St. Saviour’s school in Lagos, Nigeria before moving to the UK to complete his basic education at Holmewood House School. Seyi then moved to Milton Abbey where he completed his senior secondary school examination.

In his secondary days, he took part in a lot of sporting activities as he played rugby, field hockey, and ran track. He notably became the captain for Milton Abbey for a season.

After that, Seyi gained admission to study at Lincoln University. From there, he moved to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he finally obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.

In 2008, he proceeded to the University of Buckingham, England where he studied Law and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). He returned to Nigeria to study at the Nigerian Law School and was called to the bar in 2013.

While in law school, Seyi had three months legal internship at Oando Plc. Following that, he went back to the University of Buckingham in the UK in 2015 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law.

Wife: Is Seyi Tinubu Married?

At the moment, he is wed to Layal Jade Tinubu. Seyi Tinubu and Layal Holm were wed in Lake Como, Italy.

Children

He has two known children with a wife, a boy and a girl, his daughter’s name is Noella, and she is five years old. His son’s name is Alexander.
