The Kwara State Police Command has given directives for the postponement of upcoming convention of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Joint Campus Committee, Kwara Axis.
This was coming after the order for clamp down on cultist in the State.
Speaking with the NANS Kwara Chairman, Comr. Abdulkadir Uthman during a telephone chat with our correspondent, noted that the security agents advised the association on the postponement of the election on security ground.
“I received a call from the State Intelligence Bureau -SIB- for postponement of the already scheduled NANS convention on security ground , I’m yet to meet the SIB for further explanation, but I will get back to you as soon as I get enough details.” he said.
