The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) expressed its warm congratulations to DIG Kayode Egbetokun on his appointment as the Acting Inspector General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released on Monday, ASKOMP’s Chairman, Salihu Shola Taofeek, described Egbetokun as a dedicated, committed, and highly professional Police Officer. He acknowledged Egbetokun’s extensive knowledge of modern policing and his outstanding service record.
Taofeek further highlighted Egbetokun’s excellent rapport with ASKOMP and other journalists during his tenure as the Commissioner of Police in Kwara State.
The Association conveyed its well wishes for a successful tenure in office and offered prayers for God’s guidance in implementing the desired reforms within the Nigeria Police Force.
