After a 2-0 loss to Croatia in their opening game of the World Cup, the Super Eagles has defeated the Iceland national team in a 90 minutes game.
Ahmed Musa’s brilliant two goals in the second half killed off a very physically imposing Iceland to give the Super Eagles hopes of reaching the round of 16.
The President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki has earlier before the match met with the Super Eagles players in Russia ahead of their World Cup match against Iceland.
Saraki who is in Russia on a working visit on the invitation of the Chairperson of the Russian Parliament, made out time to meet and address the Super Eagles team.
