It was a scene to behold on Saturday at the Ilorin Muslim cemetery, Kwara State when one Mrs Comfort was caught distributing Jewelries on graves.
Comfort, who came with a ‘Ghana Must Go’ bag was noticed by one of the people present at the cemetery for the interment rites. She was said to have gained entrance into the cemetery in a shady manner.
According to an eyewitness, identified as Mr. Abdullateef Abiodun, he disclosed that Comfort was brought by a commercial motorcyclist whom she instructed to wait outside the premises of the cemetery.
While distributing the Jewelries at the graves, when questioned about her action she claimed she was directed by God that the owners of the Jewelries in the bag are resident in the Cemetery.
According to another eyewitness who stressed that the suspect’s bag did not only conveyed jewellery but also contained items such as: stove, pot, sponge and bucket.
The eyewitness further maintained that the issue would have been closed if Mrs Comfort had agreed to pick up the Jewelries, but her refusal provoked stiff suspicion.
After being invited to the scene, Mrs Comfort’s husband became distressed by his wife’s fetish action.
When her husband was interrogated about the mental condition of his wife, he said that her wife does not suffer any mental retardation but he was puzzled by her diabolical behaviour.
while the gentleman was trying to calm the situation was told to pick the Jewellery but the woman protested that he should not pick them up as it may have negative effect on him.
However, Comfort was later apprehended by some police officers who are members of the community.
