AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq Campaign Organization (AACO) has reiterated their readiness to work with the Association of Online Media Practitioners in Kwara State during and beyond 2019 electioneering process.
AACO made the pledge during the courtesy visit of their Media Team led Director Media and Publicity, Abdulrasheee Akogun to the association Secretariat in Ilorin yesterday.
Abdulrasheed Akogun in his address promised to ensure the body have sense of belonging in the coverage of campaign activities of the party and OTOGE mantra.
While welcoming the team to the secretariat, Mr Shola Taofiq said the members of the association are very proud to see one of their own been appointed as head of media and promises to give the organization support through reportage of his party activities.
One of the members of the association, Ishola Kayode reiterated the commitment of ASKOMP to just and unbiased journalism and also promised the delegation of professionalism in handling handling reports relating to the campaign organization and that of the Kwara APC in general.
Other members also expressed their delight in relation to the visit and also promised their commitment to fair coverage of events relating to them.
In his reaction, Comrade AbdulRashed Akogun said his team found it necessary to give online media practitioners (ASCOMP) priority considering the importance roles they are playing in modern way of getting people informed at the tickle of an eyes.
He, however, challenged the members of the association to intensify efforts in enlightening the citizens on importance of elections in having good governance in the state and country.
