Former Deputy National Chairman of the defunct CPC and kwara state governorship aspirant under the platform of the APC, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of fifty eighth independence anniversary.
Mallam Mustapha in a message to commemorate Nigeria’s independence through his media office explained that every October first provides an avenue to have a rethink and retrace our step in a bid to have a united nation.
He explained that the roles played by Nigeria’s founding fathers to attain freedom from colonial masters are heroics noting that today’s leaders have a lot to learn from their selfless service to our fatherland.
Mallam Mustapha urged Nigerians to be patience with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration stressing that he has steadily brought significant improvement to governance in Nigeria especially by touching the lives of common man on the road.
He also advised Nigerians to continue to hold on to values that unite us as a nation and eschew hate speech and all other forms of violence that could throw the country into turmoil especially as 2019 General Elections approaches.
The APC guber aspirant restated his resolve to fix Kwara state and take it back to its rightful place among the states that are in their fifties and called for collective efforts to achieve the dream
