NASS SIEGE: HON. FUNKE ADEDOYIN KICKS, DEMANDS INDEPTH INVESTIGATION TO UNRAVEL CULPRITS

Lawmaker representing Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke-ero Federal Constituency in the green chamber of National Assembly, Honorable Olufunke Adedoyin has kicked against today’s National Assembly blockade by masked operatives of the state Police describing it as barefaced lawlessness, rape of democratic values and gross slap on Nigeria’s Nationhood.

In her strong worded reactions, Princess Adedoyin calls on well meaning Nigerians to rise up and protect the nation’s democracy from the hands of desperate Saboteurs who are willing to take the nation back to era despotism.

The lawmaker commends AG. President Yemi Oshibanjo for his prompt decisive action and demands immediate indepth investigation and prosecution of all those with connection to the barbarian act.

She chided those who are planning to forcibly effect change in National Assembly leadership for taking their Rascality too far by conspiring with some institution officials to perpetrate open illegality without giving credence to the shame such action will bring to the nation among the comity of other nations.

“Using state institutions by few embittered people to desecrate our democratic institutions is barbaric and highly unacceptable, the law is clear in situation surrounding changing of leadership in National Assembly and these anti democratic forces are aware of the shame their actions bring to us as a nation among other nations in the world.”

” I want to urge President Buhari to call those fanning ember of chaos to order before they sink his government into unwanted crisis”. She said

The Agbamu born politician lauds Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and other distinguish members of NASS for employing wisdom to deal with the shocking situation capable of plummeting the country into political crisis.

She also lauds her female colleague from River State, Hon. Boma for summoning courage among even her male counterparts to dare agents of darkness regardless of the ammunition in their hands, she described Hon Boma as fearless patriot and a price to all African women.
