There are various insinuations and rumours going viral on social media claiming that the management of the institution has increased school fees for the 2019/2020 academic session.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Saka Mahmud in a statement signed by the Acting Director of the University’s Public Relations revealed that the tuition fees for both indigenes and non indigenes remain unaffected miscellaneous charges from the last academic did not suffer any change or hike.
According to him, the citadel has in the last ten years been in the lead in areas of academic excellence, research, administrative uprightness and the promotion of the core values of skills and integrity.
”We have been determined as management and a workforce to attain a world-class status while placing premium on the welfare of Kwarans and Nigerians as a whole. This can be attested to by our numerous community development efforts, interventions and projects across the State and Nigeria.
We also focus on education that is responsive to the needs of Kwarans and indeed Nigerias. That is why we place emphasis on entrepreneurship and all other programmes which place value on solving societal needs, including the newly introduced course in community development,” he added.
The University Boss, maintained that the school is dearly committed to the promotion of rule of law, acts and law governing its establishment and operations, noting that the institution will always respect the principles of transparency and accountability in every facet of its dealings.
He thereby employed the opportunity to emphasize the institution’s resolve to delivering sound and qualitative education that matches modern standard.
