Kwara Police Parade 30 Suspected Criminals
Over thirty suspects have been arrested by the Kwara state police command for crimes relating to armed robbery, cultism and criminal conspiracy, two weeks after the new commissioner of police, Bolaji Fafowora resumed duty.
Parading the suspects at the police headquarters in Ilorin, the commissioner of police said the suspects, including a sixty five-year old were arrested within Ilorin metropolis and be charged to court after the conclusion of investigation into the cases.
Some residents of Ilorin for sometimes now have complained of being robbed by persons who disguised as commercial drivers.
Parading some suspects at the police command whom the command alleged to have defrauded their victims of over four million naira, insisted that they are not thieves but only deal with greedy persons.
Other suspects paraded included two ladies who are members of the eye confraternity and another with five bags of weed suspected to be Indian hemp.
The commissioner of police advised members of the public to always make information available to the force and be vigilant of happenings around them.
