Chairmanship aspirants for the forthcoming Kwara State Football Association (Kwara FA) elections, expected to hold on Thursday February 14th, 2019, has unveiled to football stakeholders their manifestos, if eventually elected into the top football seat in the state.
The forum was organised at the instance of Sportspro International, a leading sports promotion outfit based in Ilorin, and tagged ‘Expression of Interest Forum’
The four aspirants who have already picked forms to contest for the Chairmanship of Kwara FA are the Chairman of Ilorin East Football Council, Alhaji Sulaiman Toyin Olokoba, Chairman of Patigi Football Council, Engr. Idris Jibril Etsu, former member of the defunct Nigeria Premier League (NPL) Board, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Adebayo Owolabi Agbaji Wopa and the National Coordinator of Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club, Hon. Idris Abdullahi Musa (Thuraya).
Speaking during the program, Olokoba promised to ensure they give quality training to thousands of potential players in the state.
However, Wopa Promised to ensure international partnership insisting no need of being in ruling party before performing.
He further promised to play a supportive role to all the football club on Kwara and see to the training and retraining of players if elected.
Etsu, after rolling out his past achievements, further promise to change the face of football in the state.
Meanwhile Idris promised to develop new talented player through sponsorship.
The crictical football stakeholders that graced the occasiom however used the opportunity to set targets and agenda for the in-coming Chairman of Association.
