In a twist to the lingering court case bewildering the APC in Kwara against, a Court of Appeal sitting in Ilorin on Tuesday the 12th of February upheld the candidature of Kwara State APC governorship candidate AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in it’s judgement.
The Court of appeal ruled that the nomination of the APC party in the State, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq by the APC National Working Committee was in order.
The Judge also berated the Kwara State High Court for entertaining a suit against INEC on the matter, and upheld that the State high court has no jurisdiction on the matter.
The court therefore upheld the four (4) grounds of appeal by the Kwara state chapter of the APC led by Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa.
The Judge ruled that the case of the Ishola Balogun-Fulani was defective in all ramifications.
Ends.
