The gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Comr. Issa Aremu has said he “served” upon completion of his studies unlike some candidates, obviously referring to the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, AbdulRasak Atunwa.
While speaking during a program organised by the National Association of Nigerian Students, Zone C, he maintained that his party is committed to ensuring quality education for younger generation.
Admonishing the students on the imperative of knowlege, he said, “If you are not knowlegdeable, you cannot be a good religious faithful, because it is the key to life. I am standing before you today confidently because of the knowlege in me.”
Speaking on his agenda, he maintained that they have a five-point agenda drafted from the sustainable development goal.
“The five point agenda are; people, prosperity, popular participation, partnership for development, and peace.”
He further stressed that President Buhari is a man of labour, berating Obasanjo as a leader who will get from the poor and give to the rich.
