The Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq Campaign Organisation has congratulated Kwarans home and abroad for coming our enmass on Saturday to massively vote the candidates of the All Progressives Congress both at the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
AACO who spoke through a press release signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Abdulrasheed Akogun described the Saturday election as a watershed in the political history of Kwara, stressing that the outcome is an affirmation of the popularity and the acceptance of the OTOGE movement over and above the irresponsive and uncompassionate outgoing hegemony.
He said “We at the All Progressives Congress had always known the time is up for the hegemony which had impoverished our people for the past 4 decades, we knew the message of a better Kwara resonated loudly in all households across the State and that is why the outcome of the election was neither a fluke nor surprising to us.
“While congratulating Kwarans, we want to advice against lowering our guard, as we’ve only completed the first leg by voting out the leader and face of the hegemony Dr. Bukola Saraki, who lost woefully his National Assembly reelection bid.
“We however still have a huge responsibility of returning to the polls on Saturday, March 9 to complete the annihilation of a system that has brought us nothing but pain, hunger, infrastructural deficit, collapsed educational system and shame.
“We can’t afford to get carried away with the results of the first leg, we must rather redouble our efforts towards ensuring even a better outing on Saturday, which will see us voting massively for Alh. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as our governor and also all our House of Assembly candidates.
