The Agbaji revolutionary youth has congratulated the Nigeria Senate Presiden, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki on his victory at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Abuja on Wednesday.
The youth at their meeting held at Agbaji quarters Ilorin through the association spokeperson, Comrade Mumeen Habeeb Olalekan said the victory came at the right time for country’s development.
“We awared since the begining of the case that it was political motivated and we also belief that sooner or later the truth shall prevail”.
“We thanked the Almighty that he has been discharged and acquitted by the tribunal”.
“We are have being with him, we are supporting politically and he has been doing wonderful for us because he knows what we want and we will continue to give him our maximum support at any time”, assured.
The spokeman noted with pleasure that the senate president had not been at any time loosing focus on his primary assignments during the two years of trial but now the case has come to an end,he urged the senate president to be more dedicated to the development of the country especially the youths empowerment.
“We see him as a leader with vision and we implored him to use his given talent to create more jobs opportunities for the youths in the country because youths are the pillars of development of any nation”, added.
He maintained that the entire Agbaji community speaks with one voice and solidly stand for success of the senate president, assuring that there is no and there would be no opposition parties in Agbaji community.
He confirmed that all the youth in Agbaji is a member of Agbaji revolutinary youth which is an amalgamation of all youths associations in Agbaji community.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Code of Conduct Tribunal,
(CCT), sitting in Abuja has discharged and acquitted the Senate President, Dr. ‘Bukola Saraki (CON) of the false
assets declaration charge leveled against him by
the Federal government. The chairman of the
Code of Conduct Tribunal Danladi Umar held that
the evidence of the prosecution witnesses were
not sufficient to justify the trial.
